Hi, My Great Great Great grandmother was Lizzie Dittmar who was married to Claus Voege. They had a son Claus who was born in 1833 in Schleswig-Holstein and he moved to Australia. I believe they had other children and I was trying to find out about the Dittmar side of the family , does anyone know this line at all?

i am looking for relitives. My grandfather was named Richard And his father August. My Father is Charles. My grandfather doesnt remember much do to MS, and my dad doesnt really "know" either. Were from the Munich area of Germany.

I'm interested in finding any info on my grandmother. My mother tells me she knows little about her. What she does know is that she was married to a Ditmar, came from Czechoslovakia and was in her 40s in 1937. My mother also thinks she later married and took the name Heldt. One of her kids and my Mothers half brother was Ernie Ditmar. I think he had a sister named Jean. Also, later she married a man named Merletto...my mothers father.

Mumumu maga As far as i can remember and from asking my aunt, My grandfather (charles Dettmer) his father was George Dettmer not sure of GT GT Grandfather

While not a Ditmar, I have traced a branch of my wife's family to a connection with Henry Jacob Ditmar Jr. who married Ruth V. Longfield in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I would be interested in contact with a Ditmar who could help me add the descendants of Henry & Ruth Ditmar to the Longfield tree. I will gladly share any Longfield ancestry with interested Ditmars.

John, I almost called you last April when I was at the Antique Flea Market east of Fredericksburg across from the Wild Flower Farm. My wife and I spent three days there. Got a kick out to the fact your town has a DITTMAR Lumber Co. We really enjoyed our visit there. I never did find the DITTMAR Cemetery.
Please add some of your family information to the guestbook.
My family is (was) all in the Plymouth Mass area and came from Prussia in 1850.
